shang shang shangri-la! (:

I was invited to celebrate South Korea’s National Day today. (:
It was a mega huge event. SO crowded with SO many ambassadors and ministers and military people. and alot of korean ladies in their han boks too. I swear it’s probably the most hanboks i’ve seen in a place, in singapore.

I kinda regret not buying a hanbok while in korea. Aw well, maybe the next time I go back there, I’d get one. It was only 50,000Won!!!! Even a chong sam is more expensive than that!!! a custom made chong sam costs from at least $120, if you can find a good tailor who doesn’t ask for much, to over $5000!!!

So, I talked to a few ambassadors here and there…. (every one you meet is an ambassador, well, everyone I met was an ambassador. Or from the Air Force. Or in a hanbok. Not much choice of variety? oh, too many actually)

And i drank too much wine (and therefore became drunk) even before the national anthemns and speeches started. >_<!! i’m so horrible.

Food was superb, as expected by shangri-la and the interior decor was magnificant!

After dinner, mich, kal and i went up to BLU restaurant and bar. (: (: wonderful. The view was sooooo nice, because you could see almost all of town and then some… I had a mango magarita, i should’ve just taken one of their specials… those sounded really good.

Anyway, Mich drove me home with kal next to her in his dad’s car… hahahha… it was such a hilarious ride home. :P
she was screaming her head off at kal for annoying her (he was fiddling around with her seating arrangements via some automated panel on the middle aisle armrest) and drivers not signalling.

So now, on my list is mich, kal, khai, terence, felix, sherbie, my aunt and her two kids (plus her daughter’s boyfriend – i wouldn’t want to get in the way of a sulking cousin. not good.), my uncle ricky, my older brother’s girlfriend and the rest of my family (mom, dad, 2 brothers).. plus me, 17 people! (:
I wonder if ling will be able to make it or not? I’ll ask her first thing tomorrow. hahaha…

alright, time for some sleep, there’re still classes tomorrow.
