high tea with mommy dearest!

I went over to the ICA (immigrations and checkpoint authorities) earlier this afternoon to update my passport photo… I look VERY old now, compared to that other picture. it’s hilarious… I told the guy, “Hey look, I still have the same smile!” and he laughed.

Anyway, here comes the part of the blog I’d start being nice about:

It’s called the:

“BUY ANNE A LAPTOP” part.

It’s not much really… it’s only SGD1359.00 at the very least… (that’s like after upgrades and stuff) I’d like an Acer, but if you’re feeling very generous, I won’t mind whatever high-end brand you wish to purchase for me. It must however, come with open office…. or if not, at least MS word, ppt, excel and outlook. I don’t really care much for frontpage.

XD

okay, I’m desperate… you know I’m just kidding.. I’d prolly ask the big guy called dad (who’s now shorter than I am for some reason) to fork out some money for me…

I honestly don’t know where he gets his money from, and I don’t intend to find out. >_>

So anyway, mom and I got home after a wonderful lunch of pig’s organ soup (oh you SO have to try it, it’s delicious. If you ever drop by singapore, tag me, or better yet, email me with your mobile number and I’ll bring you around for a day tour around the island for the best foods and tourists attractions – assuming you haven’t been here before)…

I can’t ever live without that comforting indulgence – when it’s done to perfection, of course. I’m not that fussy about my food, but there HAS to be some level of perfection. lol.

Oh right, as I was saying….

Mom and I got home after lunch, AFTER going to update my passport photo (to which I told mom that I’m completely in love with myself all over again – she looked utterly bemused about it)…. and after that boring ride home…

And I decided to  bring out mom’s pretty little dainty tea cups and matching saucer plates and this metal teapot set to have our very own super cheap high tea, right at home! (:

[I have ALWAYS wanted to do that with my mom..!]

So, we had our high tea, and we ate some cakes we bought before coming home, along with some biscuits we purchased while up in genting last week…

It was so, so fun!

XD

you know, it doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, everyone should just take some time, about 30 minutes, every once a week or something, just to have tea with their loved ones, mostly with your parents, or kids…
It’s really fun and you get to talk about the most mundane of things that seem to be too interesting all of a sudden. Like, mom was talking about my messy room and I talked to her about her procastinating on packing her bags for hongkong… (her flight’s tomorrow morning and she hasn’t even finished packing her things)

We got our things done after tea, so see, it’s useful! (okay, i’d admit, i haven’t exactly cleared out my room – i’m such a lazy girl. I’d probably have to marry a guy who’s a neat freak, or my future home’s going to be a disaster zone) (but mom cleared up her packing… heh)

Oh, oh, it’s like totally confirmed, airflight tickets and all…!
Pack my bags, and I’m ready to go!

This is going to be so much fun…! korea korea korea!!!
KC, you’re going to europe right?

You know, I hope someday I won’t have to come back to home with so much sighs all the time.
I want to come home with sincere longing and sincere home-sickness. hahahah….
I’ve never really been home sick much while I’m overseas… not sure why…
I just treat every hotel/hostel room as my own. I guess I was homesick once… while in europe, because my friends couldn’t be with me while I had too much fun getting drunk and going out shopping all day long, getting my feet too tired in my boots that were failing on me.

I hope mom and dad gets me a new laptop before I go over to korea. (:

Time to clear the messy room that I call my bedroom. >_<

byeeee.!
